This morning, our director, Louise Tu’u, rode her push bike from Ōtāhuhu to Highbrook, using an established cycle path and the roads. She enjoyed the sunshine and unexpected sign of unusual birds, resting on the jetty posts near Tamaki River. Can you please tell us what they are? We took a photo and thought they might be gannets.
There were glass shards on the cycle path, which is a shame and a much needed fence between the mangroves and the pathway. Louise was surprised not to see anyone else use this path, as it is clear and safe from cars but then it also has no signage, telling you about it’s existence.
